Welcome to the Lower Klamath Basin Renaissance Tour!

Thank you for joining us on March 7th for the 2024 Lower Klamath Renaissance Tour!

Sadly, years of conflict over water allocation resulted in the drying of the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge. Among other serious repercussions, Pacific Flyway birds are bypassing the Lower Klamath Basin. A major impact has been the unprecedented cancellation of the 2024 Winter Wings Festival.

A coalition of Klamath Drainage District farmers, government agency staffers, advocates for Pacific Flyway birds and the re-watering of LKNWR, South Suburban Sanitary District, Tribes, and concerned community citizens are coming together to explore exciting new directions for the Lower Klamath area. You are invited on this tour to see how wildlife, farmers, and endangered fish could all benefit in ways once thought unattainable.
