Welcome to the 2025 Lower Klamath Basin Renaissance Tour!

Thank you for joining us on March 13th for the 2nd Annual Lower Klamath Renaissance Tour!

In recent years, the Klamath Basin has been reeling from years of conflict over water allocations. Tule Lake and Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuges were dry, birds migrating the Pacific Flyway bypassed the Lower Klamath, the Winter Wings Festival was cancelled, and family farmers and ranchers have struggled.

As a result, last year a coalition of Klamath Drainage District farmers, government agency staffers, advocates for the Pacific Flyway and LKNWR, South Suburban Sanitary District, Tribes, and concerned community members came together to share exciting new directions for the Lower Klamath area on our first annual Renaissance Tour. Our guests learned how wildlife, farmers, endangered fish, and Tribal communities could benefit in ways once thought unattainable.

We invite you to continue the conversation with us as we discuss how cooperation brought water to LKNWR, and how restoration projects taking place in the Lower Klamath and endangered fish species will play a role in how the region moves forward to a brighter future.

If you would like to join us but haven’t received an invitation, please email us. Please note seating is limited and we may not be able to fulfill your request.
